Dr. Nicholas Rashid
Dr. Nick was born and raised in mid-Michigan. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at San Jose State University while competing on the gymnastics team. Following a lifelong dream of becoming an Optometrist, he graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in 2002 and has remained in the Fort Lauderdale area since that time. Opening Eyes On Sunrise from scratch in 2010, his passion for the profession is obvious the moment you meet him. He prides himself with keeping his office current with the latest technology to provide the best care for his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Nick enjoys triathlons and cycling.

Dr. Leslie graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry and is Residency Trained in Ocular Disease. She has worked in all specialties and trained students as well.
After years in private practice in Tennessee, she and her fur baby, Tink, chose to make Florida home again in 2017.
As an alumni of the Dry Eye Institute, she offers the latest treatments for dry eye and ocular surface disease in our Dry Eye Suite.

Dr. Brian has been helping South Florida see better for more than twenty years. He grew up in Maryland and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the University of Maryland College Park. He then earned a Doctor of Optometry Degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale (where he met Dr. Nick) graduating in 2002. After graduation, Dr. Brian had the opportunity to practice in both private and commercial offices, in addition to working with the Department of Veterans Affairs for over ten years. He is excited to join Eyes On Sunrise, working with the latest technology in a fun and friendly environment. Dr. Brian is committed to providing quality eye care to his community. He is available for comprehensive eye exams, contact lens exams, red eyes, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.
